Teijin to Exhibit at China International Green Industry EXPO 2010

Tokyo, Japan, November 22, 2010 --- The Teijin Group announced today that it will participate in China International Green Industry Expo 2010 (CIGIE 2010), the Chinese government's most prominent international trade fair in the environmental field, which will take place at the Beijing Exhibition Center from November 24 to 27.

Teijin will present a range of environmental products and technologies capable of helping to realize low-carbon societies in China. Teijin has positioned China as one of its key markets for future growth, particularly in the fields of green chemistry, including advanced technologies and materials.

The Teijin booth (Stand 1, Hall 3) will feature the following environmental solutions:

- Automobile/aircraft weight reduction: TENAX carbon fiber, PANLITE polycarbonate resin, TEONEX PEN (polyethylene naphthalate) film and HFF highly formable PET (polyethylene terephthalate) film
- Solar/wind-powered renewable energies: PET film and TEONEX carbon fiber
- Energy conservation: REFTEL transparent heat-insulating film and TELUMINA LED-backlit display panel
- Bioplastics: BIOFRONT highly heat-resistant bioplastic and biopolycarbonate
- Recycling: ECO CIRCLE closed-loop polyester recycling system
- Water purification: MSABP, ELCAT and HiPOx water purification technologies
- Disaster prevention: ADEAM geogrid reinforcement (with TECHNORA aramid fiber)
- Environmental purification: Factory desulfurization unit


The government of China is organizing CIGIE 2010 to promote clean energy, energy conservation, environmental protection, low-carbon technologies and a circular economy. The expo is aimed at enhancing exchange and cooperation between China and major countries in the common effort to minimize global climate change.
