US certification programme on schedule and anticipated to be finalized in the
1st quarter of 2005
Car production and delivery 2004 reached 32 cars
Order backlog increased further from 91 to 99 cars
Cost price reduction programme on track
Workforce increased from 60 to 63 FTE’s

Victor Muller, CEO of Spyker Cars says: "The fourth quarter is in line with our expectations. We have started to feel the benefits of investments made in streamlining our production and reducing the cost price of our cars considerably. We have announced that we will enter two Spyker C8 Spyder GT2Rs for the 12-hours of Sebring (Florida, USA) on 19 March 2005. We have entered both cars for Le Mans as well, acceptance of entries is expected by the end of March 2005. The spin-off effects of entering our cars for the most prestigious racing events is phenomenal. The old saying introduced by the American carmaker Stutz in 1928: "race on Sunday, sell on Monday" still holds true today."
