HANNOVER, GERMANY -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 03/09/2006 -- CeBIT 2006 Annual Exposition -- The MediaTile Company, the world's first provider of cellular digital signage networks, today announced the immediate availability of the MediaTile 32-inch "Digital-Sign-In-A-Box(TM)" turnkey narrowcasting platform. MediaTile's Digital-Sign-In-A-Box integrates a 32-inch digital display with an embedded computer system, player software, unlimited broadband cellular network services and a Web-based Broadcast Portal to remotely control the system. MediaTile's Digital-Sign-In-A-Box provides retailers, brands and advertisers with an instant jumpstart into the rapidly emerging era of "narrowcasting." Digital-Sign-In-A-Box is immediately available in North America, Asia and Australia. MediaTile plans on offering its goods and services in Western Europe starting in 2H06 and is actively recruiting distributors in key EU countries.

"Digital-Sign-In-A-Box is a revolutionary breakthrough for retailers, brands and narrowcasters deploying digital signage direct broadcasting networks," said Keith Kelsen, President and CEO of MediaTile. "Unlike conventional digital signage solutions comprised of component PCs and standard monitors connected through satellite or hard-wired networks, MediaTile's integrated Players dramatically simplify the installation, setup and ongoing management of promotional networks."

MediaTile's Digital-Sign-In-A-Box is a fully integrated solution that enables a turnkey narrowcasting platform -- setup is as easy as unboxing a unit and plugging it into any standard power outlet. Once powered, MediaTiles instantly connect to the network, download content and begin playing digital promotions. The system requires no technical expertise, computer configuration or network setup to operate. MediaTile's 32-inch Digital-Sign-In-A-Box is being highlighted at the CeBIT Convention & Expo in the Chilin Technology Booth in Hall 25 #C06 in Hannover from March 9 through 15.

Chilin Technology has partnered with The MediaTile Company to manufacture the 32-Inch MediaTile Integrated Player while providing distribution services for MediaTile products and services in Taiwan and China.

"MediaTile's Digital-Sign-In-A-Box is the ideal platform for creating an advertising or promotional network in locations where network support is either difficult to access or non-existent." said Steve Brandau, President of SteveCo Broadcasting, an Atlanta, Georgia-based narrowcaster. "With the MediaTile solution, we can now get our direct broadcast networks up and running twice as fast."

"Chilin Technology is very excited about manufacturing this next-generation digital signage solution on behalf of The MediaTile Company," said Scott Soong, Digital Signage Product Manager for Chilin Technology. "From the beginning, we have found MediaTile to be visionaries in the digital signage and narrowcasting marketplace. By providing our expertise in display technology, design, integration and manufacturing to MediaTile, more businesses will be able to take advantage of the many emerging opportunities in narrowcasting."

MediaTile announced the world's first cellular-digital-signage solutions in October 2004 at the prestigious Demo-Mobile conference. MediaTile's cellular-digital-signage solutions enable companies to deploy an advertising, promotional or educational network without any on-site IT infrastructure, management or support. The MediaTile solution has been popular with and brand advertisers, retailers and narrowcasters because it can be deployed independently of any on-site network technology or information technology personnel. In December of 2005, the company won the Industry Top-Ten Award from the Digital Signage Forum organization for its unique solution.
