SAN MATEO, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- July 10, 2006 -- Mobilitec Inc., a leading provider of mobile content platforms, today announced that Partner Communications Company Ltd., operating the orange(TM) network in Israel, has selected Mobilitec's content platform to consolidate its mobile content management onto a single system, thus decreasing time to market, with a goal of selling more content through a better subscriber experience and reducing operating expenditures. A single content platform may help mobile operators such as Partner Communications reduce the cost of managing content, while at the same time helping increase the operators' average revenue per subscriber by faster delivery of more relevant mobile content.
Partner Communications has consolidated its three content portals onto Mobilitec's software platform. Beginning this week, Partner Communications will operate from a single content platform allowing the service provider to deliver more compelling television, video and music experiences to its more than 2.5 million customers.
The Mobilitec platform enables Partner Communications to create a more personalized experience for its subscribers because the software can handle any data format and ensure delivery to any handset, regardless of manufacturer. Partner Communications can also package and deliver new content more quickly using a set of marketing tools in the Mobilitec software. Additionally, new workflow and management tools will eliminate manual tasks, add security and enable content providers to easily add large numbers of new content items into the system. The Mobilitec platform will also ensure full digital rights management for content partners.
