Management is pleased to announce the acquisition of the Shopping Center 17 in Brunn am Gebirge, Austria. The project will be contributed to the ING Real Estate Property Fund Central and Eastern Europe (ING PFCEE), which was launched in December 2006.

Gold Fields
U.S. financier Edward Pastorini may lead a bid for Gold Fields Ltd., the world's fourth-largest gold producer, to tap the rising price of bullion.
Gold Fields has a market value of $12.5 billion. The group plans to make a cash and share offer as early as June for the Johannesburg-based miner, internal documents sent to Bloomberg News show. Pastorini, in a telephone interview and e-mails from San Francisco, declined to identify members of the group other than to say they include rival gold-mining companies.

Xstrata Plc,
the world's fourth- largest copper and nickel producer, agreed to sell aluminum plants and a bauxite mine to buyout firm Apollo Management LP for $1.15 billion as it focuses on more profitable commodities.

Banken trokken eerst de kar, maar later bleef ABN AMRO alleen over met een plus.

U.S. stocks tumbled the most in two weeks after the International Monetary Fund said the economy will grow at the slowest pace in five years.
Companies sensitive to swings in the economy declined as Honeywell International Inc. and Caterpillar Inc. pushed the Dow Jones Industrial Average to its first retreat in nine days.

Hedge Funds
Federal Reserve Chairman Ben S. Bernanke said that a light regulatory touch on hedge funds is justified because of the incentives that investors and creditors have to monitor risks.
Because hedge funds deal with highly sophisticated counterparties and investors, and because they have no claims on the federal safety net, the light regulatory touch seems largely justified, Bernanke said in a speech to the New York University School of Law's Global Economic Policy Forum. Thus far, the market-based approach to the regulation of hedge funds seems to have worked well.

The International Monetary Fund cut its forecast for U.S. economic growth this year by almost a full percentage point, citing a weaker housing market than foreseen seven months ago.
The world's largest economy will expand 2.2 percent in 2007, the weakest in five years, compared with a September estimate of 2.9 percent, the IMF said in its twice-annual World Economic Outlook released today in Washington. The U.S. economy grew 3.3 percent in 2006.
