Sandstorm Gold Ltd. has learned that gold production at the Aurizona mine, operated by Luna Gold Corp., amounted to 13,473 ounces for the quarter ending Sept. 30, 2011.

In accordance with Sandstorm's gold purchase agreement with Luna, Sandstorm is entitled to purchase 17 per cent of the life-of-mine gold produced from the Aurizona mine at a per ounce price equal to the lesser of $400 (U.S.) and the then prevailing market price.
