Sopheon PLC gevestigt te Amsterdam en Ontwikkelaar van software producten, met name voor de gezondsheidszorg en de industriële sector, maakte de afgelopen korte tijd een koerssprong, waar wij als redactie onze vraagtekens bij zette.
Deze vraagtekens, werden afgelopen vrijdag door het bedrijf zelf ook enigzins naar buiten gebracht; hier het persbericht van het bedrijf!

Sopheon plc advises the market that is not aware of any corporate actions which could be the cause of the recent movement in its share price. While very encouraged by the rise, Sopheon emphasises that it has limited recent corporate activities to matters outstanding from 2003 divestments, and to supporting its balance sheet position. Key examples are ongoing negotiations over earnouts and asset transfer values with the purchaser of the group's Information Management business, negotiation and conclusion of a €10m equity line facility with GEM Global Yield Fund Limited, and the recent placing of 3,600,000 shares for gross proceeds of £828,000.
The board remains committed to delivering Sopheon's long-term business objectives and is encouraged by the positive effect on the business of the significant corporate activity undertaken over the last 12 months. Management is focused on building on the positive developments of the final quarter of 2003, in a market in which the investment climate and the quality of sales pipeline activity continue to show real signs of improvement over previous periods.

The company intends to release its 2003 preliminary results around the end of March, and will make further announcements when a date is confirmed.

26-01-04 3,5 miljoen aandelen a 23 pence, opbrengst ca. 828.000 pound.

Als wij dit rijtje dan zien, is er geld nodig.
De koers loopt dus op van ca. EUR 0,35 naar de EUR 0,59 en na deze opsomming begrijpt u wel dat onze vraagtekens terecht zijn.
