SECOND INTERIM DIVIDEND UNCHANGED
The Board of Directors of Solvac S.A. has decided to pay a second interim dividend. Still subject to
approval by the General Meeting of Shareholders, this second interim dividend represents the balance of
the total dividend payment for the 2004 accounting year.

This second interim dividend free of withholding tax, payable on February 24, 2005 to the different types
of shares amounts to:
• 1.1000 EUR net per ordinary share
• 1.2467 EUR net per VVPR share

The shares will be negotiated “ex dividend” on the Stock Exchange as from Monday, January 24, 2005.

Taking this second interim dividend into account, the total dividend is unchanged compared to that of the
previous accounting year and amounts to:

• 2.8000 EUR net per ordinary share
• 3.1734 EUR net per VVPR share
